Archangel Metatron.

Archangel Metatron is a highly powerful being who can aid and support us in so many ways. I have been working closely with Metatron for several years now and he has been my guide through a continual stream of changes and transformative experiences. He has assisted, encouraged and supported me in ways that have proved to be extraordinary and sublime. I have felt his presence closely and tangibly particularly while delivering Metatron Colour Healing and while consulting him during oracle and tarot readings. But who is Archangel Metatron?

Metatron means ‘one serving behind the Divine Throne.’ In my time I have come across many descriptions, names, roles and incarnations that various people have attributed to Metatron these include:

⦾ The Angel of Life.
⦾ The Angel of Empowerment.
⦾ Greatest of the Angels.
⦾ Prince of the Presence.
⦾ God’s Mediator with Man.
⦾ Second only to God.
⦾ Angelic Viceroy of God.
⦾ Enoch – the biblical scribe and prophet.
⦾ The Shekinah (God’s Presence/Female principle of God)
⦾ The Egyptian God Thoth.

Edgar Case asserted that Metatron was another incarnation of Jesus, Adam and of Melchezidek but for me this does not resonate.

What does resonate strongly with me is the connection between Metatron and The Shekinah. This connection is present within the Kabbalah and could be understood as the embodiment of God’s presence being reflected within Metatron’s Being, which occurs through The Shekinah manifesting as an influx of God’s source light through Archangel Metatron. In this sense Metatron, The Shekinah and God create another Holy Trinity which connects Source energy to both the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine. The Divine Feminine gives birth to all of creation and to the Divine Masculine, which in turn acts as a mediator between God and Man.

Another suggested incarnation of Archangel Metatron that resonates strongly for me is that of the Egyptian God Thoth – both Thoth and Metatron have been said to be the keepers of the Akashic Records and in this way Metatron is also linked with the Greek God Hermes (also known as Hermes the Thrice Greatest) who is irrevocably associated with Thoth. Thus, another trinity emerges for us linked to Metatron!

The most well known of Metatron’s incarnations is that of the prophet Enoch who was taken to Heaven and said to have been shown all of God’s secrets. He was then sent back to Earth to act as God’s scribe before being taken once more by God to ascend as the Mighty Archangel Metatron.

So we can understand Metatron then as a Being who is very close to God. He governs all angels and Archangels and acts as a beacon gathering towards him a tribe of Spiritual warriors. He stands before us as a guide ready to propel us forward on our own unique personal paths; and to aid and support us through times of transformation and growth.

In times of darkness, he is a constant presence gently holding and guiding us back towards the light. He helps us to recognise the light that is within us all and encourages us to shine, for our Selves and for others.

He will give you a nudge, or an energetic push if needed, or he will stand back and allow us to find our own way for a time – whatever is necessary for us to continue our advancement and progress. He urges you to act, do, be, speak and live life true to who you truly are. He helps you to cast aside personas that you may have adopted in order to be the person you feel you should be; or the person you may have become as a result of trauma, or a need to please or appease others. He will instil in you a desire and the courage to live authentically.

Ultimately, he teaches us to surrender into the flow and guides us towards the things that will enrich our lives. This includes removing from our lives those things that hold us back and no longer serve us. Bit by bit, step by step, he will show us the way to realise our true potential.

When studying the sacred geometric symbol of the Metatron’s Cube we again gain an understanding of Metatron’s energy – Metatron’s Cube holds the blueprint for the Sacred Shape of the Merkabah. The Merkabah is otherwise known as the Star Tetrahedron and contains two tetrahedrons connected – one with the point facing up representing the masculine and one with the point facing down representing the feminine. This then creates a star shape containing 8 smaller tetrahedrons with a central octahedron.

Metatron’s Cube is derived from the Flower of Life and within the design of the shape, we can draw from it, as well as the Merkabah – each of the 5 platonic solids – the tetrahedron, octahedron, hexahedron (cube), dodecahedron and icosahedron. The platonic solids are the building blocks for all that exists within the universe. Metatron’s cube then is a visual symbol of Archangel Metatron’s connection to all of the universal energies – he can access for us whatever energy we need and he does this using whatever medium is most suitable at the time – some people may respond to colour, others to sound and frequency, others to symbolism. Metatron is the keeper of the Akashic Records and therefore has a complete knowledge and understanding of each of us – he knows us better than we know ourselves as he is fully aware of exactly what makes us the people we are, as well as what our life purpose is.

He knows who we were and what we have experienced in each of our incarnations on Earth. He knows who our ancestors are, and who we hold karmic ties to. He knows everything we have ever been, are currently and will be in the future.

Taking all of this into account there is no real cause to wonder how and why the Metatron Healing modality is so powerful and so perfectly in tune with each client who is guided to experience this healing. Metatron knows just what we need to work on and what we can do next to move on and expand, grow and ascend. He is here to help us learn to heal our Selves and is open to everyone who wishes to connect to his energy.
